Week 5: Promoting Novara’s New Products via Meta Ads

First, we focused on sorting out the preferential benefits for various customer groups of the brand, covering new customers, regular customers, as well as group and corporate clients. When designing with Canva, we chose a red-and-black contrasting template. The red background section highlighted core offers for new customers, such as "50%" and "NEW CUSTOMERS OFFER", while the black section neatly listed benefits for regular customers – "get a free T-shirt after 5 cumulative purchases, $15 cashback for referring friends", group purchase perks – "buy 4, get 1 free (for the lowest-priced item)", and corporate discounts – "free shipping for orders over $200". At the bottom, we added an "Ultimate Temptation" section, using a background of clothing racks under warm yellow lighting, paired with text like "book an appointment to enjoy stylist advice, personalized outfit photography, and a mystery gift with every order". The overall layout was clear; different discount sections were distinct yet coordinated as a whole through colors and typography, allowing people to see all kinds of offers at a glance.

Later, for the arrival of new products, we selected photos of models wearing simple white T-shirts and beige bottoms, with a soft light-toned background to highlight the fresh style of the clothing. In the text part, we used "New Arrivals JUST DROPPED!" to indicate the new products, followed by "Upgrade your OOTD with trendy, comfy & affordable styles" to describe the clothing style. Finally, we prominently marked "20% OFF THIS WEEKEND ONLY" and added an interactive "TAP TO SHOP" button below. The overall design was concise and clear, not only showcasing the new products but also using weekend discounts to stimulate consumption.

After the release, we could see some responses: regular customers asked about the specific rules of getting a free T-shirt with cumulative purchases in the comment section; new customers sent private messages to inquire about how to use the 50% off offer for new customers; some people were attracted by the simple style of the new products and asked if there were more matching recommendations.

Through this series of work, I gained a lot. When designing the content, presenting various discounts and new product information clearly helped me better understand how to create content from the user's perspective and figure out what information they wanted to obtain quickly. Repeatedly adjusting the layout and colors in Canva also improved my proficiency in using the tool. Collaborating with team members – from discussing content directions to dividing design and release tasks – made our teamwork more tacit. I also truly felt that well-done social media content can really narrow the distance with customers and attract them to pay attention to the brand. This was much more interesting than just learning theories, and I also acquired practical digital marketing skills.
